Sun, December 17, 2006 - 6:51 AMSo, how do you make drinkable vodka? The amazing still is only good for stripping at best. You cant remove the for-shots, heads or tails. at best you can get around 120 proof or so. Even the lesser vodkas are made from 190 proof alcohol.
The claim that no boiling causes very little fussils may be true, however, it takes very little fussils to ruin a good run.

Sun, December 17, 2006 - 7:57 AMrun it trough active carbon and you will get a nice smooth drink. thats the way most homedistillers in sweden clean it.... and i tryed the finished produkt (feels extra good not pay over 100% tax) and with so unexpensive parts.. in sweden its not very legal to produce vodka.. its the goverment who have the monopoly on making and selling alcohol bewerages over 3,5%.. ill read the homedistiller website, thx for sharing :) and ill see if i find something handy... easy to hide and no smell..
